ARLINGTON SOCCER CLUB
COMMITTEES/POSITIONS



FALL RECREATION PROGRAM:  in house (k-3)

Enroll players, recruit coaches, make up teams, give registration info to club registrar, fees to treasurer, team lists to club equipment coordinator for uniform orders, draw up schedule, arrange for coach training with club coaching director, oversee program on fall Saturdays, distribute equipment to coaches, collect equipment at end of season and turn in to equipment coordinator with list of needs for next season


FALL TRAVEL PROGRAM:  (grades 4-6)

Enroll players, recruit coaches, be sure teams are entered in the John Werner League prior to the deadline of July 1, give registration info to club registrar, fees to treasurer, team lists to club equipment coordinator for uniform orders, attend league meetings, distribute league schedule to field coordinator and referee coordinator, arrange for coach training with club coaching director, distribute equipment to coaches, coordinate any group summer practice nights, oversee games and practices, collect equipment at end of season and turn in to equipment coordinator with list of needs for next season


FIELD COORDINATOR

Have fields and related equipment ready for games and practices.  Insure that goals are anchored!


EQUIPMENT COORDINATOR

Order uniforms, keep inventory of team equipment, distribute team gear to program coordinators, receive equipment back at end of season from program coordinators, plan needs for next season and report to board on upcoming expenditures


REFEREE COORDINATOR

Recruit referees, arrange for referee training as needed, assign referees for the fall travel program games.


FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

Keep Board informed of fundraising activities, solicit donations for the club, oversee fundraising activities


COACHING DIRECTOR

Assist program coordinators in the recruitment and retention of coaches, organize coach training sessions, oversee coaches in conjunction with program coordinators
